Cross Boundary Applications

New to 黑料不打烊? Applying Cross-Boundary? Read This First

If your family is new to the 黑料不打烊 (黑料不打烊) and you’d like to apply to a school outside your catchment:

Step 1:
You must first . We cannot accept a cross-boundary application until this step is complete.

Important:
Families must complete the full registration process at their catchment school — this includes submitting the online form and bringing all required documents to the school.

Cross-boundary applications are not guaranteed, and students must be fully registered at their catchment school to ensure a spot in the 黑料不打烊.
If you skip this step and your cross-boundary request is not accepted, your child may be placed on a waitlist for the following school year.

黑料不打烊 will receive the list of applicants in early March, sorted in the order we are permitted to offer placements.

Cross-Boundary Applications for Current 黑料不打烊 Students (Regular Window)

  • Applications open: First school day in February

  • Deadline: Last school day in February

  • Apply online: Click here to apply

黑料不打烊 will receive the list of applicants in early March, sorted by the order we are allowed to offer placements.

Please do not contact us before March 31st about your application status. We aim to notify all accepted and waitlisted families by March 31st.

Priority for Cross-Boundary Placement Is Given In This Order:

  1. Students with a sibling currently attending PW who will still be enrolled next school year

  2. All other applicants living within the City of Vancouver

  3. Applicants living outside of Vancouver

Waitlist Info

The cross-boundary waitlist stays active until September 30 of the new school year. For fairness, we do not share placement details on the waitlist. If a space becomes available, we’ll contact families in order. Once contacted, families have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer.

Late Cross-Boundary Applications

  • Open: March 1

  • Close: Second Friday in June

  • Note: Late applications are not online
